Privacy is part of the intervention.
Interlinked is designed around a separation between the private interaction layer and the institutional measurement layer. Universities should be able to evaluate questions such as: Are students using it? Are they completing the experience? Without routinely receiving intimate individual answers.
PRIVATE STUDENT EXPERIENCE
AGGREGATE PROGRAM SIGNALS
A private-first communication tool designed for individual clarity. Students can privately clarify what they want, do not want, or are unsure about, and choose whether to say it, show it, copy it, or share it.
Universities can evaluate adoption, completion, and perceived usefulness without receiving intimate individual answers. This allows for responsible measurement of program impact.
• Adoption
• Completion
• Repeat use
• Perceived usefulness
• Implementation feasibility

No legal proof of consent
Interlinked does not create legal proof of consent or determine whether a relationship is legally valid.
No consent score
There are no compatibility percentages or green lights. We focus on the individual's right to say no.
No coercive sharing
Sharing is optional. You can exit the tool at any time without pressure to communicate with others.
No replacement for support
Interlinked is not a substitute for Title IX reporting, survivor advocacy, or professional counseling.
Common Questions
Is Interlinked a consent contract?
No. Interlinked is a private communication tool designed to help students practice the principles of consent in real-world moments, not a legal agreement.
Does completing Interlinked mean someone has consented?
No. The platform does not determine whether consent exists or create legal proof of it. It provides a space for individuals to clarify their own boundaries.
Can someone change their mind after using Interlinked?
Absolutely. Consent is an ongoing, dynamic process. Interlinked supports the right to pause, slow down, or change one's mind at any time.
Does Interlinked replace Title IX or campus reporting?
No. Interlinked is designed to complement existing prevention efforts. It does not replace survivor advocacy, counseling, or professional reporting systems.
Do universities see students’ intimate answers?
The architecture is intended to separate private interaction content from aggregate institutional measurement. Exact data governance is defined during pilot scoping.
Do students have to use it with another person?
No. Solo use is a core part of the product. Students can use Interlinked to practice their own clarity and expression without inviting anyone else.
Why would a university pilot this?
To test whether a private communication tool can improve adoption, communication usefulness, and repeat practice alongside existing prevention education.
Does Interlinked claim to prevent sexual assault?
No. The initial evaluation focuses on proximal outcomes like communication usefulness and adoption. We do not claim to prevent sexual assault.
